Still, the stranger’s mouth curves with an almost-but-not-quite thin smile. Hearing nothing approaching, you have little reason to believe there is a new presence. The sound winds around you-a vine creeping, a snake constricting. ![]() “How innocent.” He laughs, darkly, carefully choosing his words. The panic set in once you knew you were alone and trapped.
